Far East Fringe: Experimental Music Festival

Forests is an indie rock band from Singapore crafting lush, layered soundscapes that sit somewhere between shoegaze and dream pop. Their live show is immersive — walls of reverb-soaked guitars, delicate harmonies and cinematic light design.

Led by saxophonist Raihan Halim, this Singaporean jazz quartet brings a Malay cultural flavour to contemporary jazz — weaving traditional pantun rhythms and maqam scales into the post-bop tradition.
